PLACING AN ADVERT ON Q PALS

Please think carefully. If you are not serious about making new friends and keeping in touch with them, do not apply to place an advert here. For those people trying to come-to-terms with their sexuality, who are looking for contact with other people like them, this may be one of the few options open to them. Please keep this in mind.

I hope that nobody reading the above request will be offended by it. I am sure we all have varying experiences of discovering and accepting our sexuality. For some this may have been a good experience, for others bad or difficult to say the least. For many it can be a time of great trauma and unhappiness. I am sure that if placing an advert for gay penpals were the means you had chosen to make contact with other people who think and feel like you do, you would hope for a warm, considerate and supportive response.

If this is the means you have chosen to make contact with gay, lesbian and bi people for the first time, then you probably have many questions that you are looking for answers to. You might not even be sure if you are gay. Many people will be happy to discuss these things with you, but not everyone will.
