Twins,
From a distant light
And a far off star
Turning in tonight.
Blessed
Are each one,
And to show our gratitude
Give them seventeen suns.
We hold on to some scrap of synchronization.
We give ourselves some comfort that we are never alone.
Like Twins,
Sharing a room
And the world keeps spinning
Over who of the two
Will gaze out the window, steer us in circles.
Will give some hankering of what's going on.
Inside,
Sharing a room,
Keeping a star,
Cherishing this womb.
When we're losing everything this keeps us sane.
When one needs the room, the other waits in rain.
These Twins,
Sharing a heart,
Keeping a soul,
Tearing him apart.
