I suppose i hope sometimes that
The place you hold for me there is
As flattering as the one
I save for you here.
Not saying
Moving on was not an option
But rather that
You have worked your way
Out of my heart,
But not yet out from under my skin.
And while i know you detest it,
This is how i do things.
And while i'm not asking you to
Move back to where things were,
I imply it in insisting
You at least come back long enough
To pick up the rest of your things.
