First I guess I should start with the Bear thing. It started in the eighties after
the "Muscle, Prep boy" era. I think its kind of funny that "THEY" have come up with a name
that has gone with an identy that I possesed before it was fashionable. Oh well, I guess I
am finally with the in crowd. But, I am not fat, so maybe I am not a BEAR, but an otter! Now, I do not
abide by the same desires of most bears, I like them fit and fine. No faties, but hey, you never know, so to each his own.
But I digress. I am a "SINGLE Bear" and live in Austin Texas as of December 20, 2000. I am currently working
for a LARGE computer company here in Roundrock. A burb or Austin. I will continue
my college and thinking about an MBA in either MIS or Business Managment.
I have lived all over the USA and in Alaska and Panama. I really fell in love with Austin
Texas when I worked as a Call Center Manager for Harte-Hanks Inc. in their 3Com Project.
I had lived in Iowa in the same house for almost five years.
It has two bedrooms, a sun room, three stories and one bathroom :-( The rooms are rather
large since this house was built around 1926. It is an old farm house with a carriage house,
now my wood shop. As for entertainment, I see every movie I can at a stadium seating theater
here in Austin.
I have one of those DVD players and AC-3 stereos. Man does it make watching movies real
sweet. I also just bought a new 36" TV and VCR for Xmas 2000.
I have a blond lab named Sampson. He is like a hugh baby. I have had a dog my whole life
and Sampson is the most well behaved dog I have ever owned. Aside from being big, (107lbs.)
he is great. Except when the local wild rabbit have babies. Which they do ALOT!!!!
He can clear the fence with barely any effort. But that is another story.

I am a true homebody. Not that I don't like to go out and have fun,
but I have alot of hobbies and am ALWAYS doing something around the house! Grin
I try to keep up to date in the latest software and hardware for my computers.
I upgrade my computer about every 6 months to every year. I currently have a
Pentium II 800EB running 133pci, 30gig, 128Sram, CD-Writer, Diamong Stealth 540S video
card, SoundBlaster 128 Sound card, 3Com ethernet 10/100card, on a cable modem, western digital 1394 firewire.
For you techies, the hard drives are 7200rpm to match the 133backbone on the motherboard.
I work most of my days off in the shop. The rest of my time I work on the house, do yard work,
house chores, and have friends over or plan friend-events.
I prize friendship over most everything. When all of that is done, (which is never)I work on furniture.
I started making furniture for fun about 4 years ago. Yea sure, I played at it for years but
decided to take the plunge (router) in March 1996. It all started with the gift of a table
saw and a radial arm saw for my birthday. I give myself presents for holidays and birthdays.
Than to make any kind of presentable furniture, I needed additional tools. This is a cycle
that will never end. I still need more and more tools. Hopefully I will be able to set my shop
up again soon. After I find my own place here in Austin. Until then, in storage it will stay.

The Wood, Water & Earth sections.
They relate to my hobbies of Wood Working, Salt Water
Reef Aquaria, & I collect rocks & mineral spheres'.
Wood Working
I design and build furniture. Quite a few people always want me to make things for them, but they
can't seem to be able to even draw a rouhg sketch. I have made fine wood working for them,
but since I have to decide on the design, I never feel like it is what they want. So to make
my life easier, I decided to make things I want and sell them. My latest passion has been with tables
& desks. I will place pictures of my furniture online so you can see them. Let me know what
you think about my design or any suggestions to further my wood working skills. I even thought
about a webcam in the shop. Doubt I do it since the dust would kill the camera. Maybe though?
Humm, camera, me, in front of it. Oh yea. I would love it.
Water
Reef Keeping
I currently have a 125 reef aquaria. I use two 250Watt Metal Halide 12K / two 175Watt Metal Halide 10K/6500K / one 400Watt Metal Halide system with 10K German bulbs,
& 1-110VHO Dayligt bulbs, & 1-110VHO Actinic bulbs from URI. I have a 1/4 chiller, a 4' external
skimmer, a CaCo3 reactor, Neptune Aqua Controller, X10 Modules, 80Gal Sand/Turf Sump.
Earth
Minerals & Spheres
I collect minerals and spheres. Most of them I have purchased through Ebay. I am also a member or our
local rock club. We have picnics, swap meets, shows, road trips and meeting. I have recently started to
collect Septarian Nodules. I have one in a sphere and three zunie bear fetishes. Startin at 5" tall
to only 1" tall. I will have pics online very soon. I also collect antique beads and stones.
Basic Physical Attributes
I am 37, 5'6", 165lbs., Bald/buzzed cut brown hair, goatee, hazel green eyes, brown hair
"EVERYWHERE", with a firm stocky build. I wear 34waist, 29 length, 16 1/2 neck, 40 chest, 31
sleeve. Yea, I know that because of buying and wearing suits and button down shirts. Most
of the time I wear jeans or shorts. Even get to wear jeans to work.
I love intimacy, friends, working in my wood shop & playing with my dog.
