Itinerant photographers roamed the neighborhoods with Shetland-like ponies taking pictures of young children. (Circa 1920s).



We spent a lot of the holidays at my aunt and uncle's farmhouse in Sanford, New York; near Deposit. I remember long trips from Cannonsville in a car packed with kids. (There were eight of us by 1960). It just seemed long. We were only half an hour away.

Warren played drums at the Bell Hotel in Schenevus, New York for many years with Charlie Hughes & the Westernaires.
He had drum sticks with him where ever he went. He had them around the house. He kept a pair in his vehicles, always ready to entertain.
