Quite different from Giannaris’ previous works, this movie is a lyrical black-and-white road movie set in the cast expanse of the American West. A gay poet picks up a bisexual sailor and a waitress in his convertible. This leisurely paced film explores the shifting (and occasionally explosive) emotional and power relationships between the three.
