This intriguing drama from the director of "The English Patient" was nominated for five Oscars, and no wonder - it's a cracker. Tom Ripley is a human chameleon who insinuates himself into the life of a good-looking young playboy (Jude Law) as he pursues his agenda to become a fake somebody rather remain a real nobody - with chilling results.

Death and mayhem follow him until the end of the movie, when he meets the perfect boyfriend, and goes to Greece with him. Has he turned over a new leaf, or will he murder his lover?
