SPEEDWAY JUNKIE

Good-looking, straight teenager, Johnny, runs away from home to get to Charlotte, North Carolina, to follow his dream of becoming a racing car driver.

On the way he ends up in Las Vegas, where he has all his money and possessions stolen. Destitute, he falls in with a bunch of street hustlers, and one of the boys falls in love with Johnny.

The story navigates their impossible relationship while Johnny tries to make enough money to get to North Carolina.
