Hear ye, Hear ye all of ye recovering community!  Our job is to spread the word to any and everyone.  We find liasions to meetings, communities, clubhouses etc. to distribute information, announcements and registration forms.  For Unity in Sobriety, you can't have TMI*!  We need your help as a contact or liasion. 

Your Logo could be all over ths website, commemoratives, and the program!  We are in charge of all graphics including the logo.  We produce all flyers and announcements for events and choose the logo from all entries in the logo contest.  We are highly trained professionals, do not be afraid!

The Registration Committee maintains the mailing list, sends out registration forms, processes registrations, makes up pre-registered packets, and sits at the Welcoming/Registration table conducting on-site registrations.  We are the first impression to visitors of the conference and get to welcome and schmooze with everyone! 
We always need volunteers, but especially need help during the months of July-September and on the day of the conference.
 

We are the masters of your conference...we will be obeyed...okay, okay so we just make up the program of workshops and meetings at the conference and at every event.  We find chairpeople, secretaries and evaluate and choose the main speakers for the big meeting.  Talk about power baby, we are super-charged!

We search for and secure a location for the conference based upon accessibility and other conference needs.  We designate the use of space in assigning all meeting rooms, quiet room, refreshment area, registration areas etc.  We are the liasions with the facility managers, janitorial staff, and security.  The day of the conference we are available to help sort out any issues with the facility itself.  Join us!

The Food & Refreshments Committee chooses all food and refreshments for every Unity in Sobriety event and fundraiser.  We get all the goodies that we want.  There is always enough of our favorite soda and cookies at every event!  We get what we came for!!  Join us on a shopping expedition or take a shift at the refreshments table at the conference or at any event.  Let's face it, if there is one committe the entire conference hinges on, it's the food!!
