MY FAMILY IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO ME

MY THREE SONS

My three sons are Bryan, Mark, and Trevor and all are now into their twenties and thirties.

Trevor married Allison in Burlington Iowa in August, 1997. They live in Chiago area - having lived in the downtown until August 2000. They now live in Wheeling and commute to Moody Bible Institute where they both worked. Since their son Joshua was born in February, Allison has not worked. Both are graduates of Moody Bible Institute. Allison worked in the radio station while Trevor manages distance education computing.

As befits being a new grandfather, Joshua is the newest generation McCr. There is some fun in looking at his pictures and as a proud grandfather, I include them here.

This was taken right after birth.

This was taken on April 16 when he was two and a half months old as was the next one

Mark married Wendy in Weston, Michigan in February, 2000. Wendy is a graduate of Moody and sang in the choir and was roomed with Allison. She also was in the Burlington wedding. Mark had worked for 6 years as a consultant in benefits but left in August 2000 to move to Denver where he is attending Denver Seminary. See the picture taken after spending a day with Mark in the Colorado mountains by his wife who had worked through the day and who went to Colorado Springs for dinner at the FlyingW Ranch there.

Mark has a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University. While living in Toronto, Wendy could not work but she intends to work to help support them while Mark is in Seminary.

Bryan works for the North York Fire Department (now part of the City of Toronto Fire Department). He is the oldest but still searching for a mate. Bryan has a diploma in Recreation Administration from Conestoga College and a degree in Outdoor Recreation and another in Geography from Lakehead University.

Each boy is really different but prescious. They chose very different career paths initially although it appears that Mark and Trevor will converge - both ended up doing web design work at their respective jobs for instance and Trevor will have a Master's Degree before Mark but they are both upgrading.

The boys are perhaps the greatest pleasure I have had in life up to this point. I was perhaps a more involved father than most, doing much of the taking them to hockey, soccer, etc. and taking one or more to work with me at times. If I sound proud, it is because I am.

I Do hope my boys know how much I LOVE them. I have tried to tell them in my own way BUT I was brought up not being told so it is hard.
