Bicycling
I love to ride ... the feeling of power and speed ... the warmth of the sun in the morning as you head over the first hill ...the silence and serenity of the cycle world.
Swimming
Swimming has never come naturally to me ... I've had to fight for every stroke ....but with that said there is nothing so exhilarating as the power of the first fast lap as you cut through the water.
Running
Running is another of those individual sports that I have to work at ... it takes me a long time to warm up to get the rhythm to put one foot in front of the other and breath on a regular basis ... but there is nothing like the feeling of accomplishment after finishing a good hard run.
Triathlon
I'm new to the world of Triathlon ... but multisport puts all three of my favorite sports into one huge event filled with some of the finest athletes I've ever met. There is nothing like the feeling of arriving in Clermont an hour before sunrise ... getting the bike staged and ready to go ... getting the days equipment ready ... getting stretched and ready for the challenge that lays ahead. All this in total silence along with over a thousand other people all doing the same thing. I do this because I truly love the sport and the people. Triathletes are a very special people ...
