Are you ready for some extremely soft-core, gay, S&M fantasies based upon "Hansel and Gretel"? Yes, France's child wonder, Mr. Ozon, has gone very Grimm. 

Alice (Natacha Regnier), an over-sexed lass, talks her virgin boyfriend Luc (Jeremie Renier) into killing her Algerian admirer Said (Salim Kechiouche) while she's copulating with him in the high school shower room. Her reason: A group of Said's friends had raped her while he stood there snapping photographs. True or false? It doesn't matter once the dastardly deed is done. 

Now all the cute twosome have to do is bury the body in the woods and return home. Easier said then done. Like the trio in The Blair With Project, this duo lose their way. If that isn't bad enough, they are being spied upon but not by someone in contact with Satan. It's only a horny, rugged, middle-aged woodsman who locks them in the cellar of his cabin because he knows of their crime. 

Oh, no! Will the postpubescent killers be starved to death? Well, maybe Alice will. Luc is being let out and trained to be the woodsman's boytoy, and the youth seems to be enjoying every minute of the humiliation. 

At times comic, often shocking, and frequently arousing, Criminal Lovers will be many a filmgoer's guilty pleasure.
