The Stanford Inn, was built in 1886 for Mortimer Stanford an early state legislator. The brick Victorian home was recognized by the Duluth Preservation Alliance and by the City of Duluth Heritage Preservation Commission.

The Inn is charmingly decorated with period antiques. The main staircase is graced with an eight-foot stained glass window. During their stay, guests are welcome to utilize the Inn for their relaxation and pleasure.

During the summer guests can enjoy the back wraparound porch, patio, and perennial flower rock garden.

The Stanford Inn is Minnesota's first gay-owned bed & breakfast, proudly serving the gay and non-gay communities since 1988. Everyone is welcome.....
