Well, you've signed yourself up for the torture. You are a better person than most.

The story isn't long, it begins only twenty something years ago in Charlottesville, Virginia. July 18, 1975. 2:42 A.M.

I popped out bald and thin. I stopped being bald when I was less than a year old. About the time I started walking. I stopped being thin sometime my junior year of high school. Don't worry, I'm almost thin again. Then again, you've probably already read my stats in the opening page.

What can I say? I've lived in several places in my life... Fluvanna County/Scottsville, Richmond Southside, Chesterfield County/Matoaca, and Fluvanna County/Palmyra/Fork Union, in that order. My permanent residence now is Fairfax City/Fairfax County. Its a nice two master bedroom condo that I finished buying back in June of 1999.

I attended a number of schools... Matoaca Elementary, Fork Union Elementary, Central Elementary, Fluvanna County Middle School, Fluvanna County High School Class of '93 (GO FLUCOS!!!) and the University of Virginia, School of Engineering and Applied Science Class of '97 (GO HOOS!).

I received a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science that landed me a job in the Northern Virginia 'Technology Corridor' which, counting its suburban sprawl, is still heads and tails better in terms of quality of life than Fluvanna County/Charlottesville. I have worked for an IT Consulting Firm for my duration of stay in NoVA.

Last but not least, I can't forget to say... I'M GAY. Doesn't really change anything... I'm still basically a boring person... just means I tend to be boring in the company of men my age. Anyway, at present, I'm single, having left a fulfilling relationship that lasted nearly 2.5 years with a young individual named Alexander (Sander) Yermakov who currently resides somewhere in New York City. I'm happy being single, but very interested in meeting friends. You are much more likely to find a glass of hot tea in my hand in some coffee shop, than a beer in my hand at a bar.

Well, I can't think of anything else to say except maybe my hobbies... I love to hike, read, write, watch movies, cook, dance, PeopleWatch(tm), drive (not commute...), shop, talk online, or do my other stupid computer/geek hobbies, and/or otherwise spend time with interesting and intellectual people. I do go out, Omega and Badlands on Thursday nights, and I usually hit Velvet Nation once a month on Saturdays. If you see me out, introduce yourself... I can't say hi if you don't. The best of all worlds is someone who loves to travel and can endure my singing on top of a blasting radio with my car traveling way too fast down squirrelly roads.

I've gotten many questions about what I'm looking for in a guy to date... I think I'll have to add a section to my online presence that sort of culls out those things... I can't imagine such a list will be easy to make, but I'll give it a good ole fashioned college try. Hell, while I'm putting myself out there for perspective boys, maybe I should be putting myself out there for perspective employers... a resume might be a good addition, too. Hahahaha... if you work with me, you didn't hear/see that :P
