I respectfully acknowledge Yahoo! GeoCities and its advertisers for providing a free home for The PartyPup WebSite for the past 8 months.
Most people complain about advertising on websites and commercial broadcast television because they consider it to be irritating. Perhaps.
But without advertisers, nearly every commercial website would require a fee to access the site,
and television would be either public (e.g. PBS) or subscription (e.g. HBO).
Nothing is truly free.
So either we pay... or the advertisers pay in the hopes of getting our attention and subsequently, our money -- in exchange for their products and services.
And I still maintain that Yahoo! GeoCities provides the best FREE pages, and overall services on the net.
