Hi. My name is Monica Nicole Lynn, but I usually just go by Monica. Some 30 years ago, I was born as a little boy. Since I was very young, I have wished I had been born a girl.
I am transgendered. Transgendered is defined by the Merriam Webster dictionary as "exhibiting the appearance and behavioral characteristics of the opposite sex". This disturbs many people, and they may think it is wrong, sinful or perverted. In my opinion, they are mostly misinformed or religious hypocrites, but God made me who I am. Like everyone else, I just try to live my life as best I can.
I would like to thank those people who have not passed judgment on people like me because I do not "fit" the social norm. I also have a deep admiration for those who have found the monumental courage to publicly live their life in the gender role they feel most comfortable, despite the real dangers and problems they face every day.
