Click on the Divas Live logo to see who are the greatest women in Rock n Roll on a page that I created.

These are the Divas that I consider to be classic.  They have been a big influence on the Divas of today.

For giggles and grins, I've put the names of contemporary stars that I feel are the equivalent to these fabulous Divas.  No one will ever compare to these timeless ladies.

Marlene Dietrich

The original lady of invention.  Her legendary status still reigns supreme to this day.

Madonna

Dorothy Dandridge

She was the first African American actress to be accepted into the mainstream. She paved the way for others in Hollywood.

Halle Berry

Marilyn Monroe

She is the legendary icon.  People still talk about her to this day about the rumours surrounding her untimely death.  I loved her for her vulnerability.  It's sad because she was so misunderstood.

Pamela Anderson Lee

Greta Garbo

She was such an intense actress and so elusive.  She hated being in the limelight that she hid from the public until her death.

Jodie Foster

Lena Horne

One of the greatest singers turned actress.  Her sultry sounds are timeless!

Whitney Houston

Diana
Princess of Wales

I was saddened when I had heard about the loss of this lovely gracious lady.  She was one of the greatest humanitarians.  The world lost a great person!  I grew up watching her and adoring her.  Damn the paparazzi!  They couldn't leave her alone.  Anything she did made the headlines.  She still kept a level head and tried to raise her children as normal as possible.  She will be missed!

Eartha Kitt

The cat woman ever!  Her trademark purr was synonamous with her name.  Her image as a sex kitten still sticks with her to this day.  This woman still looks great for being 70 years old.

Michelle Pfeiffer
