My most recent vacation
Interested in visiting SF? Click on the above picture for information.
I recently visited San Francisco from May 19 through 24, 1999 with my best friend Trent. We had a blast. It was a well deserved vacation. We did a lot of the usual touristy stuff and enjoyed the nightlife (like that was a big surprise). San Francisco is truly a Gay mecca! Here are some pictures from our vacation. Some of them are really goofy but they were funny.
Places we visited while on vacation
Golden Gate Bridge
Fisherman's Wharf
Castro District - the Gay area
Nob Hill
- my goodness, we couldn't believe the million dollar homes
Santa Cruz
Corte Madera

plus the
Shopping District - like were gonna miss out on that :-)
Nightclubs we visited in SF
There were so many clubs for all different kinds of tastes. We just had to visit some of them. For those who will ask.... yes, both Trent and I were both good boys while down there :-).
Here I am posing for the camera by the Golden Gate Bridge with the San Francisco skyline and Alcatraz in the background. The weather was so beautiful.
Rawhide II
Trent looking smug for the camera.
a country-western nightclub. We did a little dancing and it was tequila shooter night for me. Trent and I saw a man with the most perfect butt we had ever seen at this club :-).
N Touch
a nightclub for Asians and their admirers. We actually ended up hanging out here for a couple of nights because we had a really great time. The barstaff was very hospitable to us boys visiting from Seattle. We saw a drag show and it was fabulous! I think the hostess' name was Tita. She was wonderful and hilarious. She performed a song about her Pussy getting hot, wet, and hairy. Now get your mind out of the gutter, she was singing about her cat :-). An inside joke for Trent, "look into the ray of light....."
Powerhouse
a leather club that is reminiscent of the Cuff in Seattle except nastier and without a dance floor. This place was packed (we could barely move). We saw so many gorgeous men in leather walking around (we felt a little self-conscious). My goodness, the stuff we saw going on in the dog run made us blush!
LoneStar
a bar for bears and their admirers. We didn't spend much time in here because we were just passing through but it looked fun.
I saw the mural and had Trent pose for a picture. Little did he know, I had him right under the horse's ass.
Me after riding the cable car. Trent and I were singing "Rice-a-roni, the San Francisco treat" during our ride. Gosh, we must have seemed retarded!
Trent and I saw some interesting characters while in SF. We were touched by an angel so we just had to take a picture.
Trent and I took our own picture. It's kinda goofy but the picture didn't turn out too bad :-)
One of the main reasons to go to SF was to visit one of my other best friends, Fred. He moved down there from Seattle a few years ago. This picture didn't turn out too well :-(
Me on the beach in Santa Cruz. Too bad it wasn't summer, we could have seen all the cute boys playing beach volleyball.
Trent on the pier at Fisherman's Wharf with Alcatraz in the background.
This is Lee. He was visiting from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Isn't he a hottie? He was a really nice guy. We met a lot of people from out of town.
But he got me back by snapping a picture of me drying off after a shower. I learned quickly to lock the door.
Trent's gonna kill me for putting this picture up. I surprised him while he was working on his "beauty secrets".
Here I am after taking a nap. This picture shows the one tattoo that I have. I'm a big Winnie-the-Pooh fanatic. I guess I'm a kid at heart.
Trent is feeling energized after his nap. He's showing his wildside here by jumping up and down on his bed. Watch out for this party animal!
While at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (the site where "The Lost Boys" was filmed, Trent and I decided to go for a ride. We hadn't been on a merry-go-round since we were kids. It was fun (can't you tell?). This was the only ride that I could talk Trent into going on with me. Note the safety harness on Trent. :-)
We saw some cool street performers on Fisherman's Wharf. We just had to get our pictures taken with them.
