Les danses dans le monde arabe

Les danses dans le monde arabe

Contenuti/Contents

This book, valuable in all aspects, is specially good for information on the dance styles in the Maghreb area. After the usual historical introduction, the book dedicates 3 chapters respectively to the dance in Egypt, in Tunisia, and in Algeria. This book was my main source for my article published on Habibi Magazine (2000) "Danses du Maghreb".

The authors:

Djamila Henni-Chebra, dancer and coreographer, founder of the Compagnie Danse Arabesque.
