A brazilian male dancer has surprisingly won the contest of Belly Dance at the international Dance Festival of Joinville, one of the most important in South America.

Henry Moreno Alves Neto, surrounded by the odalisques of his dance company, has obtained the first place in the category "traditional dances", creating endless discussions. "If this had happened in Egypt he would be condemned to death" stated Loify Zayed, president of the Egyptian Culture Brazilian Association.
