Massachusetts Community Recognition Award!
It was honor to be recognized for all the AIDS volunteer works I did!
The Massachusettes AIDS Action Committee chose eleven outstanding AIDS Activists to receive its 1998 Community Recognition Awards --- Awards designed to recognize unsung heroes who go above and beyond in the fight against AIDS. The honorees were recognized at an awards dinner on Saturday, February 7 at the Westin Hotel in Boston. AIDS Action introduced the Community Recognition Awards in 1989 to acknowledge the outstanding, but often unrecognized contributions made by individuals and institutions in the fight against AIDS. Since their inception, 120 individuals and groups have been honored for their service.
