Scienziato, Pittore - Leonardo fu l'esempio
supremo di genio rinascimentale, in possesso di una delle
più grandi menti di tutti i tempi. Come pittore, il
Fiorentino produsse capolavori come L'ultima cena (1495-97)
e La Gioconda (1503-06). Come architetto,
Leonado lavorò al Duomo di Milano e al restauro della
cattedrale di Piacenza. Come ingegnere e scienziato
studiò problemi di geologia, botanica, idraulica,
meccanica, aerodinamica e anatomia. E come amatore
Leonardo preferì le attenzioni di giovanotti di strada. Venne imprigionato due volte per la stessa cattiva condotta in materia di sesso. Nell'aprile 1476 fu accusato di sodomia con un 17enne di nome Jacopo Saltarelli. Il padre di Leonardo si rifiutò di aiutarlo, ma suo zio si avvalette dell'aiuto di Bernardo di Simone Cortigiani, un influente Fiorentino, per far ritirare le accuse, dopo che Leonardo passò due mesi in prigione. Leonardo was the supreme example of Renaissance genius,
who possessed one of the greatest minds of all time. As a
painter, the Florentine produced such masterpieces as the
"Virgin of the Rocks" (1483), the "Last
Supper" (1495-97), and "Mona Lisa"
(1503-06). As an architect, Leonardo worked on the
cathedral of Milan and the restoration of the cathedral
at Piacenza. As an engineer and scientist he investigated
problems in geology, botany, hydraulics, mechanics,
aerodynamics, and anatomy. And as a lover, Leonardo
preferred the attentions of young, streetwise men. He was imprisoned twice for same-sexual misconduct. In April, 1476 he was accused of sodomy with a 17-year-old named Jacopo Saltarelli. Leonardo's father refused to help, but his uncle enlisted the aid of Bernardo di Simone Cortigiani, an influential Florentine, to have the charges dismissed, after Leonardo spent two months in jail. At one point later in life, Leonardo adopted a ten-year old boy named Salai; their twenty-five year relationship was anything but typical of fathers and sons. Among Leonardo's notes is a long-running list of items stolen from him by the mischievous Salai. When Leonardo died, he left a bequest for Salai, but he left his drawings, papers, and notes to his final companion: a young nobleman named Francesco Melzi. Recent computer analysis, documented in Scientific American (April, 1995), demonstrates that "Mona Lisa" is in fact a self-portrait of Leonardo as a mysterious woman. |

He once bragged that, "I've had my cock sucked by five of the big names in Hollywood." Dean and co-star Sal MINEO were close friends off the screen too. More than once, the pair went down to Las Palmas and Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood to pick up a third party for their own entertainment. Dean lived with producer Rogers Brackett and they were very likely lovers. Most of Dean's other sexual encounters were of the casual or commercial sort, and almost exclusively with men. When the studios insisted he go out on arranged dates with female starlets, the look of discomfort and disgust on Dean's face is clear in the surviving photos.
