My computer and me. I know it is time to reassess my relationship with my computer because:
  • I wake up at 4 O'clock in the morning to go to the bathroom and stop to check my email on the way back to bed.
  • I turn off my computer and get an awful empty feeling, as if I just pulled the plug on a loved one.
  • I decided to stay in college for an additional year or two, just for the free internet access.
  • I laugh at people with 28.8 modems.
  • I started using smileys :-) in my snail mail.
  • I find myself typing "com" after every period when using a word processor.com
  • I can't correspond with my mother because she doesn't have a computer.
  • When my email box shows "no new messages", I feel really depressed.
  • I don't know the gender of my three closest friends because they have nondescript screen names and I never bothered to ask.
  • When I moved into my new house I decided to netscape before I landscaped.
  • My family always knows where I am.
  • In real life conversations, I don't laugh, I just say "LOL, LOL"
