Something cheery for the obsessively destructive among you.

No actual lemmings were harmed in the production of this verse. In any case you can't prove it. And hey, they deserved it.

A Twist of Lemming
(or, The Helping a Lemming Along Song)

When you feel sour, try not to glower
Go help a lemming along,
Being malicious can feel quite delicious,
Far better than drinking or song.

When you feel down, try not to frown;
Here's a prescription for glee:
Don't let yourself worry, just grab something furry
And throw it out into the sea.

When you feel beat, get on your feet.
Take a trip down to the coast.
For each of your langours, depressions and angers
Make some little lemming a ghost.

Now don't go and do it, then afterwards rue it,
It's not doing anyone harm.
The lemming adore it; they're nuts but they're for it,
So go get that much needed balm.
