If
you Think You might have depression, you should tell an adult that you
trust, they can help you either tell your parents, or find some form of
treatment for you. If you are not comfortable talking to any adults, tell
a friend.
Now, there are new
treatment options available to you then there were in your parent's day.
Most people do not end up in mental hospitals as inpatients. in serious
cases, one may spend the night if having suicidal tendencies. Then there
is Medication, some common medications are Prozac, Paxil, and Zoloft. But
the most common method of treatment is something called PSYCHOTHERAPY,
basically, all you do is talk to a therapist for 45 minutes once a week,
or more.
Being Depressed
is nothing to be ashamed of. Hope you feel better.
Some signs of depression are:
-Feeling sad or blue.
-Not enjoying activities
you used to enjoy
-Inability to concentrate
or difficulty making decisions.
-Difficulty coping
with stress
-Difficulty facing
the day
-Not sleeping well,
waking up too early, or sleeping too much
-Feeling anxious
or worried
-Loss of energy
-Feeling "stressed
out" all the time
-Feeling agitated,
unable to sit still, or feeling slowed down
-Feeling hopeless
-Feeling guilty
or worthless
-Increase or decrease
of apetite.
You don't have to
have all thease signs to have depression. If you are experencing any of
