Ernie Lacasse (Treasurer & Facilitator)
Ernie Lacasse was born and raised in the Lower Fraser Valley of B.C. and lived in communities which were overwhelmingly blue collar. This influenced his ideal of the "hot man". He interrupted his education in Accounting to go to Australia where he lived for five years. Returning to Canada he took a office position in Prince George, B.C., and then returned to Vancouver to continue his education at U.B.C. As a student and as a graduate (with a Bachelor of Theology Degree) he lived in various parts of B.C., Manitoba, Newfoundland and Ottawa where he was "outed" at the age of 40. Soon after returning to Vancouver he was invited to join the Zodiac Leather/Levi Fraternity. He held various executive positions, including that of President for two years. He has pastored churches for the United Church and Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) and, when not so employed, has earned an income in bookkeeping and accounting positions. For a number of years he was a member of the General Council of the Metropolitan Community Churches (Universal Fellowship of MCC) and travelled to many cities in North America where, while attending to Fellowship business, he visited the leather communities. For the past ten years he has resided in Toronto and is very active as a volunteer at MCC-Toronto and, to a lesser degree, at Aids Committee of Toronto. His fetishes have been a part of his fantasy life for as long as he can remember. He hosts summer parties at the Toolbox which have become famous here and everywhere!
Chris Osborne (Facilitator)
Chris Osborne is a local guy, born and bred in Toronto. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from York University and a Master of Divinity from the University of Toronto. He has been active, in the past, in Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) both as clergy and laity. He came out to the gay and leather scene of Toronto in 1980. He has been a member of Trident Toronto and has served on the board of Spearhead. In 1997 he became involved in the National Leather Association: Toronto Chapter and has served on NLA: Toronto’s Executive and Education Committee. He is a Master/Daddy who enjoys a Daddy/boy role relationship with gord (a.k.a. k-ix), his partner of over ten years. His interests include role-play, flogging, cock and ball torture, tit torture, hot wax and dungeon design/equipment. He is a reference assistant at a local public library.
black (a.k.a. Ian Turner) (Facilitator)
Ian Turner (a.k.a. black) has engaged in SM/Leather play since the mid-1970's, and became involved in the organised leather/SM/fetish community in 1992. He is a member of Delta International, and was on Delta's Board of Directors for three years, including two years as Chairman. He is an associate member of Chicago Hellfire Club and The 15 Association. He was active in the now-dormant National Leather Association: Toronto Chapter from 1993 to 1998, serving four years as Male Co-Chair. He also served on NLA: Toronto's Education Committee, and has facilitated workshops on numerous topics. In November 1998, he received the Courtlan Forsey Memorial Award for contributions of lasting significance to the leather/SM community. In February 2001, he won the Canadian Award at Pantheon of Leather. He is a Daddy/Master who is fond of floggers, signal whips, clothespins, abrasion, and various other twisted activities. he is also a bootblack and a member of Men in BOOTS Club International.
