This is me at Wigstock 1998, getting blown around by the wind!
I am really happy the event took place on the sunday of Labor Day weekend, because weather on monday was horrendous!
I wasn't sure I was going to be able to make the event, so I bought my ticket on the morning of the event.
I thought it was pretty creative!
I think it was a great day to be TG and alive! (Though a lot of passersby asked if they could take my picture, most assumed I was gay.

This couple really had it together when it came to matching colorful costumes! I thought they were really cute. Just imagine how well prepared they were to stop traffic with these get-ups!
Here's Laura again, this time with me. She purposely did not go through her entire transformational makeup routine for Wigstock, primarily because it was a warm day, and who wants makeup meltdown?
There were a lot of very colorful people at Wigstock. The gal in the middle picture had a live bird in her headdress - and she won a trip to London on Virgin Atlantic!
