Take one part Norwegian, one part Chippewa Indian, gently stir and....voila!
I was born on the west coast of Canada in a small logging town on Vancouver Island.  Port Alberni  to be exact.
Many, many summers were spent at grandma's house...I miss you so much gram!
Raised in the big city, but still a country girl at heart.

For 15 years I worked in a long term care facility (Cooper Place), and was quite active as a union member.  
I feel great pride when I tell others that I belonged to the Hospital Employee's Union.
