Welcome To London with

The Shaftsburry Hotel

This is me lounging around in my london hotel room. The Shaftsbury hotel, has gone through alot of renovations, so it is prity clean. The rooms are a good size and comfortable too. This one was a double, prity close to the same as a Canadian and US double so not to bad.

Your hotel room comes with a continental breakfast.. one I never saw ( my fault ZZZzzzzzz....). The other great thing is Soho is just around the corner and everything else is a few minutes walk away.

St. James's Park

(Yes that is the proper spelling)

This is a view of the Millenium wheel in London, from Saint James's park. The Millenium wheel is something I sort of missed during this visit (shame but got to see it from many angles, just never got on it).

Saint James's park is a definite place to stop for a bit, have a rest and a snak. It's a beautiful quiet park to spend some time. Surpriseing concidering it is on route to the Palace. You can walk through the park and find lot's of people lying out tanning, resting and socializing. The paths are nice and wide so lot's of room to walk in groups, and families to walk to geither.

There are restrictions put on cycling , skateboarding and inline skating in the park so it is a pedestrian friendly place.

Here is my picture of a Pellican. I just wanted to share it. It was close enough I could almost touch it. Wohooo.. Aside from pellican's I found other species of birds I haven't ever seen.
Welcome to

SOHO LONDON

Welcome to my soho section. This is only a part of it there is alot more. We are actually looking at it from Shaftsbury street, just down the street from the hotel actually. The street below is the main drag mid afternoon in Soho. Trust me is looks better than what you see here. It's worth a walk through just for a look.
The River Thames
An absolutely beautiful place to walk along and take picture. I had a lot of fun with my brothers digital camera's panoramatic settiing. There are so many places to stop rest and be entertained, or even just to relax. It is an experience in it's self.
