Welcome, I have been keeping this journal since January 2000. For the first year I kept it up fairly regularly. but now nearly two years into it I have found that I know longer need to chronical my life on a day to day or a week to week bases. Once you have read a few of my entries you will see that I live a fairly quiet life. Now I will be updating this when something I feel is worthy of remembrance happens. The main goal for this journal has always been to keep a record for myself. A record to that later in life when I may truly be living an insular life I can look back on what I did around the turn of the century and marvel at what I viewed as important and what I found at the time to be trivial. Though I write little of world events I am a news junky and feel myself to be as much a citizen of the world as I do America, the events I read and hear about do not touch my life on a daily bases and I know that they will be better chronicled elsewhere. When I want to look back at the world in general I will turn to those sources. This is for personal consumption and about my life. Let me tell you a little about myself. First I want to say this page is by me about me. There are many people who have a different opinion of who I am. If you want to hear what they have to say go to their page not mine. So here goes. I am a Black, Jewish, Gay American, who has lived all his life in the US and more specifically in the Midwest. My life is fairly run of the mill. I work, hang out with friends and relax at home. I seem to spend as much time at home alone as I do at work. My favorite color is blue and my favorite ice cream is Pralines & Cream. For other details see Hobbies, Interests or e-mail me and I will tell you anything you want to know, up to a point. |

Quote of the month: IJulius Ceasor on his way to the Spanish Campain was reading a biography of Alexander the great. At one point he started to cry. When asked why he was crying he said that by his age Alexander had concoured half the known world and here he was not evan having fought his first battle. What he failed to note was that by his age Alexander was dead. |
