I've been playing handball for 33
years now, -always been a goalkeeper.
To all You "ignorants " , roughly
explained, -handball is a kind of Soccer,
-You just play and pass the ball
with Your hands and the court is much smaller.
7 players from each team, -including
the goalkeeper are on the court at the same time. The mach is divided into
2 half hour halfs with a 10 minutes break.
Well,- just as for almost all other
sportsmen there have been some costs:
2 cross band
operations, lots of broken fingers and stretched ligaments.
Also I have had a break for half
a year this year to restore harmony in my life, gain inspiration and plan
my doings and wishes for the future ,unfortunately I had some setbacks with my bad knee,-so no eurogames for me this year,-but hopefulle I will be able to start training again this winter.
The last couple of years
I´ve joined the gayhandballclub in Copenhagen:PAN.
A great club with lots of talents
and nice guys, -and believe me :It feels sooooooo great to beat the
shit out of the "straight" teams, -and knocking down some of those walls
of prejudice towards gays and what gays stand for !
unfortunately I wasn´t be able to compete in the EUROGAMES 2000 in Zurich, -But I'm looking forward to the next games and hopefully meet a lot of new and some old friends there. |
Growing up in a sports idiotic family
doesn't just make me handball fanatic!
I do like lots of other sports
as well : I play tennis, badminton, soccer, volleyball, pool and love to
watch all kind of sports !
