AC Cobra

The AC Cobra is brutal, noisy, blustery inside, totally impractical and not for the faint hearted; but there is very little on our roads today that can compare with it's charm, character and performance. This superb example was built by Daan Grobler of Pretoria who registered it in 1990. Motive power comes from a Ford 390 Cubic Inch (6392cc) V8 which delivers 240hp (180kw) at 4600rpm and a massive 540Nm of torque at 2800rpm to the rear wheels through an FMX 3 speed automatic gearbox. Once bitten by this snake there is no serum that can cure you!
