Forward Air Field 4

The main gate guard tent at FAF 4 (Forward Air Field) was a place I knew quite intimately having spent many hours there by day and by night. The airfield was situated just outside and to the north-west of the small town of Mount Darwin. FAF 4 was in the 'Hurricane' operational area and saw it's fair share of action during the war.
