This is the NYC Chapter of the American Boyz, an organization for "people born female but who feel that is not an adequate or complete description of who they are (including but not limited to tomboys, butches, female crossdressers, drag kings, f2ms, transmen, mtms, intersexuals, thirds, and others along with their significant others, friends, family, and allies)".
Chi Delta Mu Chapter of Tri-Ess (CDM)
The nearest chapter of Tri-Ess, a national organization for the support of the needs of het CDs and their spouses/SOs. Monthly meetings at a location in Northern New Jersey. Potential members must undergo a screening process. (A nice group with strong spousal support.)
Crossdressers International(CDI)
New York City's open CD group; has a west side midtown apartment and a newsletter, "Crossdresser's Monthly." Plus weekly open house on Wednesday evenings, and a monthly meeting featuring speakers, dinners or other activities. A safe haven for crossdressers.

The New York Association for Gender Rights Advocacy is a membership organization
that advocates at the state and local level for self-determination in gender expression
and identity. NYAGRA sees its constituency as including all individuals who experience

gender. Such individuals may include, but are not limited to: transgender-identified and
