Fargo, North Dakota, USA

For nearly four years, I lived in Fargo (to start on my new career in mapping). I first moved up to Fargo in September 1996. Unfortunately, my first year was the worst, as far as facing the weather. I dealt with at least seven different blizzards, a winter that dumped a record 117 inches of snow in Fargo for the season, plus a terrible ice storm/blizzard in early April 1997, followed by the 500-year flood. There have also been other events, including the terrible rain/flood from June of this summer.

But otherwise, I had some good times in Fargo. I made lots of friends up here...and I'm still in contact with many, even though it's been nearly seven years since I moved from Fargo back to Kansas (July 2000).
