I've been maintaining some sort of personal web site ever since I first learned HTML back in college. My primary objective is to share a little bit about myself to the world, while at the same time designing and creating a good and interesting web site, that hopefully someone will notice. And since January 2007, I've diversified into different websites, including regular updates (BLOG OF JOHN ROEVER), updated photographs (FLICKR site), or updated home videos (YOU TUBE site) - Links to these are on the main page (sorry, too lazy to post them here). I was born in Bedford, England, but moved to Kansas when I was only a couple of months old. Below is a picture of yours truly when I was really young...  I spent a large majority of my childhood in Topeka, Kansas. I spent four years in Lawrence, attending the University of Kansas [check out more info on Page 4: My Time at KU]. Below is a photo from one of the best days of my life, Graduation Day 1996 at the University of Kansas (with my parents) [you can click to get a larger image]...  In September 1996, I took one hell of a chance and moved to a new location for my new career. The place...Fargo, North Dakota. Winters were bitter, mosquitos were annoying, but I made lots of friends up there. And it was a memorable experience living up in Fargo. This would end on July 2000, where I would move back to my homeland of Kansas. And since August 2000, I've been living in Johnson County (suburban Kansas City). There is nothing else I would like to mention about my personal life, other than the fact that my shoe size is 11.5. I may include some more items to this page eventually.
