Hi

My name is Ken Cage. I live in Johannesburg, South Africa, with my lover of seven years, Deon Hendrikz.

We have our own training company, Siyakha Training.S.A., and have our offices in outbuildings on our premises at home. It is great working from home as the only early morning traffic we have to deal with is not tripping over the cats in the passage between the house and the office!

I have a Masters degree in gay sociolinguistics, and did my dissertation on the form and function of Gayle - the language of gay men in South Africa over the past 50 years. I am currently doing a doctorate at RAU in the Department of Applied Linguistics and Literary Theory, and am investigating the language of the gay media over the past 20 years in South Africa, and the effect it has had on gay culture in this country.
