Some thoughts on gay issues

What do you guys think about this?  (well ... those of you that will read 
it...it's pretty long ... although, it might raise some thoughts (no 
implication of either direction, towards or away, from relgion intended 
here ... only meant as something for people to notice and give their 
opinions on)).

     So,  what do you think?  why is homosexuality considered wrong?  
(I find it weird that, for a book that we kinda attach the answer to the 
ultimate question "why?" to ... is doesn't seem to give very much in the 
line of why here ... of course, this accounts for the majority that I have 
read of it.  as I am not a very good reader ... so maybe it does have why 
... or maybe it has why right HERE and is just in a language that we don't 
understand anymore ... well... speak up ... what do you think?

what to talk about

     I'm under the impression there is only one thing that everyone will talk
about. (Or, at least, more than one person will).

     Sex.  no ...I really don't want to talk about that ... you learn the
educational stuff in private or in school anyway ... here, I doubt we could
keep the conversation mature... it's SOOOOO open to crass comments and 
"funny" jokes .... (That's why you get so many, esspecially junior high, 
students that are always making sexual comments/jokes ...  It's extremely 
easy to do ...and it's something that people will groan about, but they 
still accept it.   Not like saying, "I'm really having problems with my 
family,  I love mom, but sometimes I just want to kill her for getting into 
my stuff ... Do you fight often with your parents about privacy?  What 
arrangements work for you?"   I think you'd get a conversation dropper on 
Many of the things that really matter...   A guy says "Hey, do any of you 
other guys have get erections when you see the other males changing in 
the locker room?"

     people use homosexuality as an insult.  

     Why the hell do something that mindless ... I can't understand the apathy
on this issue.  Maybe people feel like their "jokes" and taunts are just in
fun and no one really cares or anything?   God, that's how we got treating
women like genital recepticals ... just because everyone was used to the crass
remarks ... it's just what people say, no harm in that ... an ogle here, a
blond joke there ... some huffing and puffing of how "manly" you are because
YOU certainly don't do anything that females do (like there's something wrong
with it?  maybe everyone doesn't share the my definition of wrong then ... That
wrong is when you hurt others).

     now do the same with homosexuality ... let it become a common joke or
insult.  You know, many people grow up and spend the first many years of their
life just taking rules for granted ... homosexuality is bad...it must be, since
I've never heard anything good about it... it seems pretty accpeted that it is.
must be right.  (hell, why do you think they're are so many cristians?  many
of them believe in god before they have even wondered if they're IS one... how
is this possible?) .... well, people that don't know even what homosexuality
IS, believe it's wrong .... HOW DO YOU THINK _THAT_ CAME ABOUT?!

     I just hate seeing this .. from KIDS even... The few people on the planet
that we can hope to grow up without hating others for absolutely no reason
whatsoever ... fear and stuff like that "god, he's gonna turn me GAY!" ....
insecurity ... And people have the steriotype that it's the homosexuals that
are the "wimppy" ones ... it's the biggots that fear them that are the wimps
... can't fight a stupid thought from society... are afraid of THEM becomming
like "that" and then having society against THEM too ...   


I'm not saying anyone SHOULD be gay ... be whatever the hell you want ... I'm
saying you should think about the situation for yourself and not just crap on
them because you've been taught to... or because you're such a lousy wimp that
you don't want to say anything differnt from what you're other lousy wimp
friend says .... just think about the situation and see for YOUSELF if you
REALLY think there is something wrong with it .... maybe you'll even defend
them and be telling other's to back off .... then you'll be a person that
is preventing people from being hurt... isn't that a nice sort of person to be?
well ... think about it yourselves ....  then discuss it ... and see if you
can find other ideas that you hadn't considered before ...then think baout
those as well ... and either accept or regect the idea ...or use it to make
your own new thought ... [as you should with anything you hear, good or bad]
