Legalization of Drugs.. Will this War ever End?
I am opposed to the legalization of drugs including weed. Why? Because it is too late to legalize drugs in America. I believe that there will truely never be a solution to the drug problem in the U.S. This may not sound good but, there is no hope for America. She has sold her children.
And that is ashame.
You look at other countrys and you figure.. they don't have half the problems we have with drugs and they have legalized drugs... Well, they don't have half the problem America has, period.
It used to be, at one time, that drugs (including medicines) were uses to help people. These drugs were used to enlighten and to show people that there is much more out there beyond physicality. These drugs were used to show people who they were. There were more spiritual purposes for the use of drugs than there in this society. And that is what went wrong.
The use of drugs has been perverted and corrupted along with many other things. We changed from using drugs for love to using them out of fear. We lost the control over drugs and now they control people. Now this is a situation out of control and legalizing drugs is the last thing you want. Not only will there start conflict with deciding who gets the control and the power of distribution over the drugs, but you will have given up what little power you were left with over to this shit.
So why is there a drug problem?
There is a drug problem because people (like you and me) want there to be. People (like you and me) think that it isn't our fault that things are the way there are. We think its someone elses fault. Its so easy to think like that. Its so easy to point the finger. I mean, look at the police force.. what the hell are they doing about the problem? you think that busting all the druggies and putting all the addicts in jail is going to stop drug traffiking?
I doesn't matter how big or small the problem is but the only person point the finger to is you. All I can say is if you want to make a change... start with the man in the mirror.
