The Environmant

Please take care of it......

"We have accumulated an immense body of knowledge about matter, and powerful techniques to control and exploit the enternal world. However, we are grossly ignorant of the effects likely to result from these manipulations; we behave often as if we were the last generation to inhibit the earth." --Rene Dubos

In the 1997 Spring semeter, I took an "Environmental Ecology" course with Dr. Linda Wallace at the University of Oklahoma. I really learned a lot in that course threw her teachings, through readings for that class, and the research I did.
Please be careful in how you treat the environmment around you, and all its inhabitants. They have as much right to live here as we do. There are many reasons, and ways, to save the environment. First of all, there are very limited resources. The best way to help with this would be to recycle, and to limit the resources you do use.
Also, finding alternate resources of energy, like solar energy and wind energy, that won't drain our environment would help. Also, try to protect every creature, and its habitat, since we do not know all the consequences of the extinction of that animal. There have already been too many animals driven to extinction, or close to it, by humans....
I'm not sure how much I can say without rambling on, but please be careful and treat our environmant right because you are not just affecting yourself, you are affecting everyone, and everything, including future generations.....

Please respect our environment, and all that's in it because we all have to live here, and we do not know what damage killing or destroying something forever will do. Also, I am providing links to some more informmation about ecology, the environment, and pollution. (Some of these were provided by Dr. Wallace. Thanks!) Please check them out.

Another thing, if there are links that you'd like to share, please tell me what they are. Thank you!!
