of the Indigo Girls performing for Pride '96. It was the largest crowd I've ever
experienced at any of the pride festivals, although donations to the Atlanta Pride
committee certainly did not reflect that. Crowd count varied depending upon the source,
but many counts of approximately 500,000 people were reported to be present while the
Indigo Girls performed. Although the temperature was almost unbearable, people stood
packed in to see "The Girls" and they were not disappointed. One of the
most awesome performances I've ever seen.
I do have a few more photos from their performance, but have not scanned them in yet. In the meantime for more Indigo Girls info you can visit their offical home page, or check out the links on my other site, also still under construction. |
