My Chart

This is basically a 360 degrees picture of the skies taken from the time and place I was born. Each colored symbol in the chart represent a planet, (or an aspect of me). Any symbol above the horizontal line were the planets in the actual skies, the others were actually below the horizon and could not be seen at the time.
Starting from the left (eastern horizon) you can see the sun (just a few degrees up the eastern horizon since it was only 6:20am or sunrise), and in the opposite side, the moon almost below ( a few days after the full moon)

The interpretation of your astrology chart begins on the following page.

You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple language,
uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to contradict another statement,
then you exhibit these opposite qualities at different times in your life. For example, a
statement that you are highly sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer
solitude seemingly contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both
sociability and solitude at different times.

The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The astrological
factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are not a
student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be meaningful to you, and you can
ignore it.

If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative, you might
want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to learn more about the
astrological influences on your life.

Your birth chart interpretation is based on the positions of the planets at the time of
your birth. For the benefit of students of astrology, these positions, along with other
technical information, are listed below:

Tropical Koch Standard time observed
GMT: 11:20:00 Time Zone: 5 hours West
Lat. and Long. of birth: 18 N 28 69 W 54

The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others see you,
the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 2 you will read about
the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of person you are at
heart and where your true priorities lie. Read the two chapters and compare them - there
may be significant differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine
through and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than
superficial level. This first chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while
chapter 2 talks about the real person inside the costume.

Cancer Rising:

You appear gentle and soft, and you act rather reserved with others until you know them
well and feel it is safe to be open with them. You have a strong need for emotional security
and a sense of belonging, and are deeply attached to the past: your heritage, roots, family,
cherished friends, familiar places, etc. Making radical changes or moves away from what is
known and safe can be very painful and difficult for you. You tend to cling and hold on to
people, memories, possessions of personal or sentimental significance. Having a home, a
safe haven, is very important to you.

You approach life emotionally and subjectively and are sensitive to the emotional
atmosphere, the subtle undercurrents of feeling in and around you. Instinctive and
nonrational, you are often unable to give a clear, simple explanation for your actions.
Something FEELS right, or it doesn't.

Your emotions and personal loyalties tend to color your thoughts and opinions. You
view life from a very personal perspective and often cannot mentally detach yourself from
your own personal bias and prejudices. You are apt to be concerned primarily with how
something affects you and those dear and close to you, rather than with the principle or the
broader social implications. For instance, you may be very patriotic and feel that whatever
"my country" does is right without really knowing much about the other nations' policies or
point of view. Put simply: if it is good for me and mine, it is good. If it is not good for me
and mine, it is no good.

You are tenaciously loyal, protective, and supportive of those you care about, and have a
very strong nurturing, motherly nature (regardless of your gender). You empathize with
others and intuitively sense the feelings and needs of other people. Compassionate and
sympathetic, you are easily moved by others' pain, and you are often the one others seek
out when they need comfort, reassurance, or help.

Your moods fluctuate and change frequently and you are sometimes open, sometimes
withdrawn emotionally. You communicate nonverbally and appreciate a person who can
pick up subtle cues and hints, rather than having to make everything explicit.

You never forget either kindness or unkindness shown to you.

Chapter 2: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation

Sun in Gemini:

You are, in many ways, an eternal child. Your mind is bright, alert, curious, flexible,
playful, and always eager for new experiences - and your attention span is often quite brief.
You grasp ideas quickly and once your initial curiosity has been satisfied, you want to go on
to something else. You crave frequent change, variety, meeting new situations and people.

It may be hard for you to decide just where your talents and true vocation lies, for you
have a multitude of interests and are loathe to limit yourself by concentrating on just one.
You are easily distracted by all of the other fascinating possibilities. Your curiosity and
restlessness propel you into many different experiences in life, and you are willing to taste
or try anything once. Doing the same thing over and over again, even it is something you do
well, is real drudgery for you.

You live in your head a great deal - reading, observing, thinking, spinning ideas around -
and you need mental stimulation every bit as much as you need food and drink. In fact, if
you had to choose between a good book or movie and a good lunch, you would very likely
choose the former. You have a creative mind and often live by your wits.

You are also a very social creature, with a strong need to communicate and to interact
with people. You enjoy using and playing with words and have a real flair for getting your
ideas across in a clever, interesting, articulate manner. Writing or speaking are areas you
have talent for.

You also have a rather light and mischievous sense of humor, and often do not take
anything too seriously. Though you crave emotional involvement, it is hard for you to
achieve it, for you are frequently unwilling to commit yourself to anything, to take
responsibility, or to limit your personal freedom and mobility.

Your happiness lies in using your creativity and your language skills to communicate
something meaningful, to teach, inspire, or bring people together. You have an unbiased
mind and can usually offer a fresh, clear, uncluttered perspective. Your faults are your lack
of constancy and persistence, and your tendency to overlook or ignore deep emotional
issues and other people's feelings.

Sun in 12th house:

You tend to get involved in the helping professions or in activities where your efforts are
hidden, behind the scenes, unacknowledged, or unknown to the public. Asserting yourself or
getting up in front of an audience may be exceedingly uncomfortable for you.
Sun Sextile Uranus:

The unusual and unorthodox appeal to you, and you do not allow tradition, convention,
or other people's expectations dictate how you are going to live your life. You crave
freedom, adventure, excitement, and discovery, and are not afraid of change. You possess
inventive and creative genius.

Chapter 3: Mental Interests and Abilities

Mercury in Gemini:

You have an extremely active, lively and versatile mind with a multitude of interests and
an inexhaustible curiosity about life. You are quick to grasp new concepts and equally quick
to lose interest in an idea or project once your curiosity has been satisfied. You like to taste
a little bit of everything - concentration and disciplined study are not your strong points.
Mentally restless, you may change jobs or locations frequently, or do work that involves
movement, travel, and variety.

You have a flair for language, playing with words, speaking, writing, or teaching in an
entertaining and informative way. You also enjoy meeting new people, conversing and
learning a little bit about them, and you work well with the public.

Sales, advertising, communications, journalism, or public relations are good areas for
you. Your ability to be articulate and to communicate well is one of your greatest
strengths.

Mercury in 11th house:

You have a good understanding of group trends, politics, mass movements, and
community affairs. Sharing ideas with groups of people is something you do well and are
likely to be involved with. You collaborate well in group efforts and are likely to be part of
a successful team or large organization.

Mercury Square Jupiter:

You have an abundance of ideas, interests, and plans for the future, and may find it
difficult to focus on any particular area. You are not a specialist for you seek to get the
broad overview, to see the whole picture rather than closely examining any of its component
parts. Philosophy, religion, or other areas of theoretical speculation interest you.

You also possess foresight, numerous enterprising ideas, and a gambling instinct, all of
which contribute to your success in the world of business. However, your optimism and
grand vision can get you in trouble too; you sometimes promise more than you can deliver,
gloss over important details that come back to haunt you later, and overestimate the
potential of an idea or product.

Traveling is a great love of yours, especially if there is a mind-expanding or educational
aspect involved, and you may travel extensively in your work. Consulting or education
would be good fields for you.

Mercury Square Pluto:

Never satisfied with the face value of anything, you are always probing beneath the
surface for deeper reasons and hidden motives - though you rarely reveal your own. You
have a very suspicious, even paranoid, side. You mind is penetrating and deep and you have
an aptitude for research, investigative reporting, or private investigation. You are keenly
interested in the deeper aspects of the human psyche, with a sort of "x-ray vision" regarding
the inner motivations and intentions of others. You are drawn to anything secret, hidden, or
mysterious, and may pursue esoteric or occult studies. You are also a forceful and
convincing speaker or writer, with the ability to influence peoples' thinking by the sheer
power of your conviction.

Mercury Trine Saturn:

You possess excellent powers of concentration, and enjoy studying or deep thinking in
solitude. Discriminating and highly rational, you get right down to the bare bones in any
discussion, and are quick to see the fuzzy thinking or weaknesses in another's logic. You are
well suited to any work which requires organized thinking, precision, and a methodical
approach. You enjoy working on problems that others consider too tedious, repetitive, or
technical. You tend to become a specialist in some field of knowledge, and to become
engrossed in all of the small details of that area, sometimes not realizing that few people
share your particular interest, especially to the extent that you do.

Chapter 4: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance

Moon in Capricorn:

Serious and responsible, you try to carry the world on your shoulders and rarely let
others know that you need help and support. You deny or ignore your own emotional needs
and feel that others will not accept you if you appear "weak". You are especially
uncomfortable with emotional dependency, and will tell yourself and others (even children)
not to be a "baby". You need to accept that no one is self-sufficient all the time, and to be
gentler with your "childish" emotional needs and wants. To others, you may appear to be
rather hard-nosed and tough, with a businesslike attitude toward their personal concerns
and feelings. Actually, no one is a truer friend. Your feelings and loyalties run deep, but you
often do not let people know how much you care. You also need to learn to relax, enjoy
yourself, and play sometimes.

Moon in 7th house:

You depend a great deal upon other people for emotional support and you have a large
"family" of friends that care about you and treat you as kin. The women in your life are
particularly important to you, and your relationship with them powerfully influences your
sense of security and happiness. You may be overly dependent and unsure of yourself
without a close partner.

Moon Trine Mars:

You are assertive and confront difficulties in a direct, no- nonsense sort of way. You
cannot tolerate self-pity or passivity, and you can be rather brusque with others' emotional
problems. "Stop crying and DO something about it" might be your motto.

Moon Sextile Jupiter:

You are easygoing, agreeable, and tolerant, willing to overlook others' mistakes, forget
the past, and begin again on a positive note. You enjoy making others comfortable and
happy, and sometimes overdo your generosity. You often feel that "everything will turn out
all right no matter what I do", and so become lazy and lackadaisical.

Venus in Leo:

Warmhearted and generous in love, you cannot tolerate pettiness or stinginess in your
partner. You want a Hero, a Prince or Princess to idolize and adore, someone you
wholeheartedly admire and can be proud of. You are tremendously loyal and devoted once
you give your heart to someone.

You crave love, appreciation, and attention from others and hate to be ignored. You are
rather susceptible to flattery and love to feel SPECIAL. You enjoy some drama and color
in your love life and grand romantic gestures or an extravagant expression of generosity
impresses you.

Venus in 1st house:

You are very much aware of your personal appearance, attractiveness, and charm, and
you can be rather narcissistic. On the other hand, you are concerned with getting along with
others and you have a pleasing, agreeable manner that people find quite appealing. You use
tact or charm to get what you want rather than intense effort or force. Your desire for love
and affection colors everything you do.

Chapter 5: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals

Mars in Taurus:

Once you set your mind on a goal, your dedication, determination, and commitment to it
are extraordinary. You pursue your ambitions tenaciously and will stubbornly refuse to give
up, let go, or be influenced in any way. Like Aesop's tortoise, you labor patiently and
steadfastly until you achieve what you want - or until it is clear beyond a shadow of a doubt
that all is lost. You are a reliable, consistent, and productive worker, and often shoulder
more of the workload than your co- workers, usually without complaint. The nitty-gritty work
often falls to you. You prefer a regular routine, with definite hours and clearly defined
responsibilities and tasks. In fact, establishing a pattern or routine is very important to your
success because once you get started in a certain direction, is easy for you to follow it
through to its completion. Getting started is more difficult. You have a lazy, comfort-loving
side and there is often a good deal of inertia for you to overcome before you get going.
Once you get a momentum going, your energy level is strong and steady.

You are interested in concrete results and solid, practical achievement. You need to
have some tangible product or contribution to show for your efforts, and cannot be content
with only intangible rewards (such as having a good time, learning, or spiritual enrichment).
Material well-being and security is also a large factor in determining what you do. Your
stamina and persistence is your great strength but it can also work against you; you can get
caught in a rut and refuse to seize new opportunities. You also tend to play it safe, and to
limit yourself in that way.

Mars in 11th house:

You are a team player and work well in collaboration with others who share your goals,
ideals, and intentions. You can coordinate group efforts and inspire people to work toward
a shared goal.

Team sports are also a lot of fun for you, and you could be a leader, coach, or director
of any group endeavor.

Mars Opposition Neptune:

Ordinary life often seems drab and uninteresting to you and you must have something
that stirs your imagination, some vision or ideal or dream to motivate you. You have a
strong urge to act out your fantasies or to live your dream, and you will DO things that
others only talk about or dream about. Artistic creation, drama, or other areas in which you
can express yourself imaginatively are excellent for you.

Work that serves only your own narrow personal interests does not satisfy you. You may
lack the competitive edge, the fighting spirit, the me-first attitude that is often required for
material advancement and success. You also tend to either overestimate or underestimate
your own power and abilities.

Mars Sextile Jupiter:

Your self-confidence and vitality are strong and you believe you can do just about
anything you want to. You have an enterprising spirit, a good sense of timing, and the ability
to sense what will succeed and what won't. You usually make fortunate decisions in work or
business activities. You enjoy healthy competition and you have a rather playful,
good-humored attitude toward it. You mostly compete with yourself to see how far you can
go or how much you can accomplish. You like to keep stretching your limits.

Chapter 6: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy

Jupiter in Pisces:

Your ability to empathize and identify with others makes you unwilling to take
advantage of or hurt anyone. You care about the underdog. You may also be unusually
impressionable or have highly developed psychic sensitivity.

Jupiter in 9th house:

You are very open-minded and deeply curious about distant places and ways of thinking
and living that are different from your own. The urge to travel widely and to experience as
much of the world as possible is very strong in you. The study of philosophy or religion also
interests you a great deal. You benefit from your contact with other cultures, and you may
be involved in linking those who are far apart geographically or philosophically.

Jupiter Opposition Pluto:

You aim high, have great vision, and are never satisfied with yourself unless you can
achieve your goals in a big way. You are very opportunistic and are always ready to
capitalize on a good idea. You utilize contacts with prominent and successful people to
advantage, and are likely to win yourself an important and lucrative position in life.

Jupiter Trine Neptune:

You are very broad-minded and tolerant, and you have a rich, colorful imagination. You
do not struggle with life as much as most people; you are inclined to follow the path of least
resistance.

Chapter 7: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You

Saturn in Aquarius:

You have an innate distrust of groups and/or a cynical attitude toward society that may
leave you feeling out of step and unable to participate in activities with your peers.
Overcoming a sense of aloofness and alienation from others is an important task for you.

Saturn in 7th house:

You take your commitments to others very seriously, especially in close one-to-one
relationships. Your strong sense of responsibility to the other person makes you a
trustworthy and dedicated partner, but you often feel that marriage or any binding
commitment between yourself and another person is too restrictive and burdensome, and
thus seek to avoid it. Close relationships may be more work than pleasure for you and it
may seem that you are always "working on" your marriage rather than enjoying it. You will
persevere and ultimately grow through the process, however.

Saturn Square Neptune:

You strive and struggle a great deal with your ideals or spiritual aspirations. You may go
through periods of self-denial, asceticism, and serious study of religious philosophy and
spiritual practices, or you may lose heart and become cynical about religious ideals, but
never quite divorce yourself completely from your idealistic concerns.

Chapter 8: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive

Uranus in 2nd house:

You have a reckless, impulsive, or very unconventional attitude toward money, material
things, and ownership. Above all, you do not want to be possessed by your possessions. The
obligations of owning things are likely to feel oppressive to you.

Also, you may make your money in a field that is unconventional, highly unstable, or
very inventive and innovative. Your fortunes are likely to fluctuate widely throughout your
life.

Neptune in 4th house:

Your childhood and early home life were colored by a great deal of confusion or by
people with unusually active imaginations, aspirations, or fantasies. It is difficult for you to
see your childhood and your relationship with your parents in a clear, realistic light. You
may search for the ideal, loving home you wish you had, or believe you had, when you were a
child. Finding inner peace and a sense of emotional security within yourself is important to
you.

Pluto in 2nd house:

You are likely to have a fixation on money, wealth, and material resources. You may
totally renounce material desires and ownership, or become obsessed with having, owning,
and accumulating. Your attitudes towards owning, keeping, and sharing will undergo major
changes in your lifetime, and your fortunes are likely to run very hot or very cold.

Chapter 9: Generational Influences: Your Age Group

In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation. Of course,
you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected
by the tone that is set by your generation.

The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In this
section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply
felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power, and consequently leaves in its
wake considerable upheaval and change. The second topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of
Your Age Group", that describes the dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age
group. The third and last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which
describes areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and also
where it may be unstable and unreliable.

The generational characteristics described below may affect a group of people for
anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological
factors described in each of the three sections below.

The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group

Pluto in Virgo:

You were born during a 15 year period of people that are driven by the need to find an
ethical standard and a clear sense of what is right and what is wrong. There is a
subconscious drive to straighten out all the world's evils and create a world of perfect order.
There is a feeling of repulsion to anything ugly, dirty, or grotesque. Oddly enough, there is
also often a fascination with these very things that are so distasteful, and often a feeling of
hopelessness and despair about the world's condition.

These inner, emotional and conflicting qualities are reflected in the attitudes and life
styles of your generation. Most people of your age group are conservative and ethical, and a
small minority goes to the opposite extreme and relishes being strange or unusual in
appearance, and sloppy or even grotesque in manners and appearance. There seems to be
no middle ground for your generation. Usually, the rebellious type of behavior comes out
during adolescence, and tends to subside thereafter, and your age group tends to be very
conservative in later life.

Your age group is not very good at compromising and tends to have strong ideas about
what is right and what is wrong. There is a strong feeling that you must extinguish evil in the
world. Certainly, fostering good works is very commendable, but a categorical and
simple-minded response to complex issues is not helpful. Your age group will undergo great
transformations in attitudes regarding Good and Evil and will swing to great extremes.
Your generation will also make great contributions in the areas of medicine and nutrition,
ecology, and education.

The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group

Neptune in Scorpio:

You were born during a 14 year period of people that have very intense psychic
sensitivity and imagination. Your age group is very attracted to the strange, weird, and
unusual. The sense of the macabre and bizarre is strong, and this is reflected in much of the
music, art, and fashions of your age group. Novels and movies with mystery and chilling
suspense are also popular with your age group. Emotional depression, drug use, and suicide
are likely to be relatively high in your age group. There is also a deep mystical sense, and
Eastern religions and meditation are very attractive to your age group.

What is New and Different in Your Age Group

Uranus in Leo:

You are part of a 7 year group of people who are unusually self-willed, proud, and
egotistical. You are a group that defies authority and insists on having its own way. Parents
and school teachers found that it was extremely difficult to discipline your age group.
Governments that are repressive to individual expression and freedom meet a great deal of
resistance from your age group, and you tend to rise up against any form of tyranny and
oppressive rule.
