         OAVs: Tenchi is just your ordinary, everyday, average high school student. Just a regular guy with a regular life. He grew up listening to his grandfather’s tales of a demon that lurks deep within the Masaki shrine. It isn’t until Tenchi takes it upon himself to investigate the forbidden cave that his life takes a turn for the weird as he releases the demon Ryoko with a mysterious key.

          1st TV Series(Tenchi Unverse): Again, Tenchi is just your average guy. He was doing nothing more than walking home from school when a space ship crashes near his home. Upon investigation, he finds the beautiful, blue-haired space pirate Ryoko being chased by the bubbly galaxy police woman named Mihoshi. Their ships totaled, two aliens become marooned on the planet Earth. Their presence attracts not just one, but two Jurain princesses- Ryoko’s childhood rival, Ayeka and her little sister Sasami- the genius scientist locked away in the Masaki shrine, Washu, Ryoko’s cabbit space ship, Ryo-ohki, and Mihoshi’s more competent Galaxy Police partner, Kiyone.

           2nd TV Series (Shin Tenchi Muyo! or Tenchi in Tokyo): Tenchi’s just a normal high school student (noticing a pattern here?) who happens to live with six beautiful alien girls. In this series, Tenchi is off to study in the big city, far away from his family shrine in the country: Tokyo. His grandfather has arranged for Tenchi to train as a Shinto priest at his friend’s shrine. A new city means a new school and new friends for Tenchi... as well as a new love interest and new enemies. In Tokyo Tenchi meets Sakuya, a pretty and popular girl also attending Tenchi’s school, but underneath her pretty exterior is a past shrouded in mystery.
