This is MY broomstick lace substitute. It requires no equipment and no extra needles. It is knitted, and extremely simple. You could make a baby blanket with this and the pattern included is eminently suitable for all skill levels and gives extremely fast results.
If you feel a burning need to copy this pattern to your own site, I have a link button somewhere.
NOTE: This Pattern Looks Best when Done in Multiples of 4 + whatever you like for a border x 2.
Note: I cast on 64 for the cradle coverlet.
Crochet around edges, for durability and a finished look. I use 1 row of dc, with three extra st in each corner, and then 2 rows of sc, with 4 in the corners of the first row and three in the second.
I lost the list I had of what graphics belonged to what site. If I am in error, please notify me at nymphnimue@hotmail.com. It will not be necessary to bite my head off, I am already quite contrite.
I believe this beautiful background came from Freemotion Graphics.
