These are my mother's parents, Duncan & Zita Forbes. They met in Detroit, Michigan where they had 5 of their 6 children. Both originally from Nova Scotia they met through friends when they were in Detroit and moved back to Lower South River (near Antigonish, Nova Scotia) after WWII. Shortly thereafter they had their sixth and final child. (More to come shortly - stay tuned)
