Angel

I was lonely but not alone
surrounded by a crowd of friends
none whose presence filled my heart
I was missing something
then you came, out of the blue
a warm body, a gentle caress
rescue me from myself
lifting me high to heaven
a blue winged angel’s kiss
with a promise not to desist
always ascending, never abating
electric touch I’m soaring
higher than ever before
crack the sky in my mind, expanding
you found me once, alone
when I didn’t know I was lost
now I’m lost again
in your eyes, your smile
cerulean swells inthe depths of your soul
a vapor trail halo the only way back
with you here with me
I could stay up here forever
