Diary, another installment.

August 18, 1998
Well here I go agian, a little more time now to sit down and write.  
Well the last installment had me getting back from annual  training and trying to get back 
to normal.  The room mate that I had mentioned earlier, had taken off with 
my car while I was gone as well as quite a few other items.  I have 
been having to deal with the police and the towing service that had my 
car, which had been wrecked and vandallized, and let me tell you, Savannah's 
police and their system sucks... yes, I hope the mayor and cheif read 
that, but oh well.  I also found the my phone bill had jumped to $2500, 
I swear I don't see how anyone can make that many 900 calls, so needless 
to say... I'm pissed.  But I'm trying to get it all dealt with.  I was 
hopeing so that this one was going to be something else, maybe Mr Right, 
but alas, screwed again.  

Sonny is doing ok, though I am a little pissed at him too, for allowing 
some of the crap to go on.  Anyway I have done the riot act scene and tried 
to get the house all cleaned up and get on with my life.  

Diamond is in heat again, lord I wish I had the money to get her fixed, it is so hard to keep
here away from Brutus but I don't need any more 
pups, or mouths to feed.  Some day soon, it is on my agenda to get that done, 
as soon as things quit happening to me, I swear I just wish everything 
that happened did have such a high price tag.  Back at work and things 
have been going along there well, took a little bit to back into the schedule... 
body clock being all screwed up and all from AT, but have it down now.  
I am getting ready to go to a factory school next month, in Miami, 
that I am looking forward to, a break and maybe a little relaxation,
might even have time to find a little fun too.  Let me know if you want 
to meet down there I would love to have a host to show me around town and all.  

I have the louvered doors to the laudry room outside now painting them... 
and doing some other house cleaning stuff.  Tommorow, another day off, 
I am going to try and get Richard to go with me down to the farm in Jesup 
and pick up another bed, and take this hide-a-bed couch down there for 
storage.  Now that I have cleaned everyone out and all I want to get a good 
bed for me to sleep on, unless Sonny messes up and then, hell I will get 
my old bedroom back with my water bed in it.  Anyway I guess that is enough 
for now,, I feel like I am starting to ramble... I will try to start and 
get back to doing this weekly, (no pun intended), rather than having to 
try and lump a lot of stuff in a marathon session.  Still looking for Mr Right, 
though a bit shell shocked after Larry got done with me, so if you 
feel like it give me holler.

Well here I go again...
It has been a while so I will try and fill some of it in.  Things as a whole
 have been going along, still behind on things but am slowly catching 
up.  I am working another part time job, as a bartender at the Southern 
Elegance, a casino gambling boat here in Savannah.  They are real good about 
working me in around my schedule at the dialysis clinic, which can be 
kind of trick in itself.  I have met a lot of good people there, and it 
gives me a break from the other jobs.  Also maybe I can make back some of 
the money I had left at different bars in my twenty some years of drinking, 
it also helps me in my wanting to stay sober, something weird about me 
anyway.  I am kind of suprized that most of the bartenders there don't drink.  

I also had a very good on-line friend from Birmingham, England come and 
visit for four days in October, Alan and I have chatted on-line for about 
two years now and he had the opportunity to come to the states and we 
worked he stay and my schedules around so we had some good times together.  
I was actually able to play tourist in my own town, which was really 
neat for me.  It can be suprizing that you can live a place and still not 
see some of the things around you.  Anyway Alan was a remarkable person 
and I feel honored to have had the chance to actually meet him.  I hope 
to have a picture or two when I get done with the roll of film in the camera.  

I have been getting ready for Christmas and have most of the house 
decorated already though still have things to do. And by the way Merry 
Christmas to everyone. 

Good news on the family thing, I have been seeing my parents again, 
it has been good to be there I have missed them so.
