I was lurking around last week and it seemed to be pretty much, uh, acrimonious between the new and old board members. So I decided to stay out of it. I get very "Esther" around stressful situations.

OK, 'acrimonious' was an overstatement. 'Conflict' is better. I'm at that point in life where I avoid all conflict if possible. I think it was the 3 (?) 'Who's your favorite poster?' posts. I thought the subject would just go away but it didn't. I'm just grateful that I didn't log on one morning and get those 'This Board Is Closed'. Obviously it never got that bad. And then I got busy doing other computer stuff and the first time I had to write or post was yesterday and this morning. Oy! I just got my phone bill, it more than TRIPPLED! So how are you BFN? Are you able to drink milkshakes? Have you become LadyLovelyLocks yet?...eom...Mitch

This certainly went awry. Why is it when you make a mistake, it always prints out at least twice!! Anyway, I was saying that the
*MITCH*--I am such an idiot. I put quotes in and lost this whole thing AGAIN. I am going to try one more time. I was trying to say that the *HILDA* post is pretty funny in retrospect, especially glaring as it is what, triple posted? Someone was laughing their a$$ off! On the nubbs topic, it will be years before the words Miss Lovely Locks spring to anyone's mind--if they EVER did. It seemed to grow really fast from the *Montel stage* as you put it, but since then, it seems like it has gone dormant. I never knew I had such a weird shaped head. Sort of flat in the back--my mother probably left me on my back in my crib all day so she could watch her soaps!! Because I look like such a goon, I've been in the house way too much, and I can feel a little depression at my *edges*, but maybe it will pass. I went for my first chemo today, but all they did was a history and physical, and I don't start the actual chemo until tomorrow. The nurse said,
Mitch, this is really embarassing. I can't seem to stop using quotation marks. What I was going to say was....The nurse said, *You'll like it here, we have a good group*. I LOL as it struck me funny, but she was really serious. I'm bouncing off the walls mentally if you know what I mean.I can't believe this is happening to me, yet it is. Maybe I just need some time. Its funny how protective we've become of one another isn't it? But yeah- he hasn't been on the board for a while now, and I'm getting concerned.
Yeah, I think it's neat how we worry about each other or jump to each others defense if someone is getting dissed on the other board. I'm hoping Mitch is just really busy right now, and that maybe he hasn't had time to log on lately. (Onyx)eom
