Pamela was born in Ohio in the great baby boom just after World War II. I grew up in a small town in Ohio and went to Catholic grade and high schools.
My first time to crossdress was when I was about 13 years old. My sister got this red half slip and panties set and one day while everyone was gone I borrowed them and put them on. I don't remember why, but, I remember the pleasure it gave me. I aways had this curiosity about feminine things.
I did not dress much during my teens but always had a fasination with girls underwear. After college (in Chicago) I was hired by a west coast government contractor and brought to Silicon Valley. I started working in data processing in 1969. Thus began my 29 year career in data processing.
During my early twenties I started to crossdress but was very afraid and would purge my clothes.I purged my things several times. I also felt ashamed and so after a few years stopped.
About this time I met my wife and we got married and I suppressed my desires for many years. I still longed to do it and would look at catalogues and ads of women's clothing dreaming of being able to wear them.
I currently work for a large computer manufacturer and do application support. Along the way I got married and had 2 sons.
I live in Santa Clara, California.
About a year ago I was in a Ross department store and as I usally did when by myself I wondered the womens department. I then found myself in the shoe department and spotted a pair of Nine West spike heels in a bright red that were on closeout for about $10. I looked at them and they were in a size ten (my size). I picked them up and put them back several times before I finally got the courage to buy them.
I rushed home and since my wife was gone I borrowed a pair of her panty hose and tried them on. They fit beautifully and I again started to crossdress.
I am now separated from my wife and living full time as Pamela except for work. I have shared Pamela with about 10 people at work including my boss. I am thinking of transitioning at work at the start of the new year 1999. I have started taking a testosterone blocker (Spiro...)and hope soon to start female hormones.
