Actually Fredrikka's retirement was a week before the celebration, but Vickie and I were not prepared to go out last weekend, so this weekend was the closest we could manage. We started by gathering at 8pm for dinner at Cafe Coco's. This restaurant is very relaxed, the food is great, but the decor and lighting are NOT good for picture but we preservered and did some anyway..LOL. After eating, we decided to find other envirns so took ourselves off toward the Jungle. However, it seems that the "new" location was not a good one for the Jungle so they are closed again in order to move to another, more central, location. Finally we settled on the Gas Lite. Saturday night is Kaokake night and while I normally hate that (cant stand the "killing cats" sounds), it was not as bad as expected and I actually enjoyed it for about an hour. More pictures of course...(grin).
Anyway, we had a good time and who knows may do it again soon. Roy and I have gotten to be such home bodies that it is hard to get us out much anymore...hmmm perhaps we need to work on that??!?
